Promoting the Power of Chess! 
Mind Plus Chess Club successfully conducted a special chess workshop today (06th August 2025) at Ku/Thalvita Vidyalaya, Kurunegala. As per the request of the Principal Mr W M S Samaranayake, the club donated chess boards and pieces to support the school’s growing interest in chess. 
Today’s event was conducted by he Secretary of Mind Plus Chess Club, Mr. Roshan Jayathilake and Mr. Manoj Weerasinghe, while the project itself was an initiative of Mind Plus Chess Club, focused on promoting and popularizing chess in the Kurunegala District. 
The workshop received heartfelt appreciation from the Principal, teachers, parents, and the 40 enthusiastic students who participated! 
This is just the beginning! Mind Plus Chess Club is committed to continuing such valuable programs across the district to inspire and empower the next generation through chess.
